Fahe Member Community Ventures named 2023 Microlender of the Year

Another win in the lending sector—Community Ventures, a Fahe Member, was awarded the 2023 ‘Microlender of the Year’ award by the Kentucky Small Business Administration (SBA). The award was for their dedication in helping launch and grow small businesses in Kentucky.   

Community Ventures Vice President of Lending, Lew Whalen said, “Supporting entrepreneurs as they launch a start-up or grow their existing business is our mission… I am proud of the hardworking clients and our team and am grateful to the Kentucky SBA for this award and the funding they provide that makes it possible for us to support entrepreneurs across the Commonwealth.”
