On November 14, Fahe Member Housing Development Alliance (HDA) broke ground on the first of 32 high-ground homes financed by the Rural Housing Trust Fund (RHTF) that will be built or repaired in Perry County, Kentucky.The new high-ground community will be built on reclaimed mine land, adjacent to the Hazard airport. Flood survivor Melissa Neace and her family will be moving into the new home in the spring of 2024.
