Fahe is proud to announce our 55th member, Garrett County Community Action Committee of Oakland, Maryland (GCCAC).

Since 1956, GCCAC has been helping to build a better community by providing essential services that improve the quality of life for residents in Garrett County.  They focus on helping low-income persons become more self-sufficient.

GCCAC provides many different services to the community including education/ life long learning programs, health and nutrition services, rental and homeowner services, transportation, and emergency services (such as food assistance, temporary shelter, utility assistance, and homeless services).

GCCAC is also a developer and owner of over 400 units of rental housing and also build single family homes that are sold to graduates from it’s First Time Home Buyers Program.

We are excited to have Garrett County Community Action Committee as part of the Fahe Network.  To learn more you can visit their website at www.garrettcac.org.
