Our Members’ success has a direct positive impact on our Appalachian communities. As part of our commitment as an Appalachian backbone institution, Fahe hosts an annual Spring Retreat in Berea for our Members’ to network and build capacity. These Spring Meetings involve training sessions, deep discussion, and fellowship amongst our 50+ Members and other regional and national partners.
The theme for this year’s meeting is “Resilient Organizations, Resilient Communities.” Working in conjunction with experts from our Member organizations and our partners from Prosperity Now, we are tackling topics such as client financial capacity, self-sufficiency, and operating reserves, while sharing which strategies are really creating an impact.
Our Spring Meetings are but one of the ways we bring our Members together under one roof throughout the year. Fahe also hosts quarterly state caucuses as well as a larger Annual Meeting involving not only our Members but partners such as NeighborWorks America, USDA-RD, Rural-LISC, state housing finance agencies, and keynote speakers.
We would like to also say thank you to Prosperity Now and JPMorgan Chase & Co. for their sponsorship.
