On December 3rd, Fahe’s SVP of Strategic Programs, Matt Coburn, and Fahe’s Relationship Manager, Tyler Johnson, joined other stakeholders and policy makers in a statewide convening hosted by KY Senator Mitch McConnell centered on addressing the opioid crisis in Kentucky.

We are excited to be invited to join other people and organizations that are not only discussing answers to the opioid epidemic but also taking the necessary steps towards solutions. Participating in collaborative efforts like this provides opportunities and connections to resources that can better inform the work of Fahe’s multidisciplinary Recovery Task Force, our partnerships with drug recovery centers, and our future collaborations.

The future success of Kentucky and Appalachia depends on collaboration and holistic, innovative approaches to prevention, treatment, and second chance employment options that will change lives and strengthen our communities.
