Supportive Housing Services Projects

As representative of supportive housing services, the City of Richmond, a client, has utilized partnerships with various local non-profits to provide supportive services to community residents. Working with local non-profits such as the Salvation Army, Hopes Wings, Inc., Kentucky River Foothills Community Action Partnership, various partnerships have accessed funds from the Emergency Solutions Grant (and from its fore-runner Emergency Shelter Grant), HEARTH (Homeless Emergency Assistance and Rapid Transition to Housing – McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act of 2009), and Tenant Based Rental Assistance. Additional services have been accessed for community residents through the Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women.
