If you’re interested in volunteering within the Fahe Network, please contact Jackie Weiss for the organizations closest to you.
Many families in Appalachia live below the normal income levels. By giving extra clothes and food, you are helping these families to put their income towards their utility bills, rent, and medical bills.
We have an Instagram campaign known as Uncensored Appalachia that focuses on the condition of the housing stock in the area. You can help raise awareness among people outside of the region by joining in.
If you don’t have the time to volunteer, donations can go a long way in the right hands. Fahe has over 30 years of experience applying donations and investments to where they can do the most good in Appalachia. Follow these links to learn more about Donating and Investing.
Fahe does a lot of good and we can do a lot more if people know about us. Please tell your friends and coworkers that you know about a nonprofit that does community building for Appalachia. Tell them there is an organization that has a mortgage-lending branch that helps low-income families obtain a low-interest home loan. Tell them that they have a chance to change the landscape of Appalachia.
However you choose to do it, thank you for taking action and helping Appalachia. Feel free to tell us what you do for your fellow man on Facebook and Twitter.
