Annual Meeting 2018

The Fahe 2018 Annual Meeting in Charleston, WV was a huge success.  First, a huge “thank you” to all the Fahe Members.  Your leadership on the ground is what creates resilient Appalachian communities.  We’re thankful for the experience and expertise you bring to the Annual Meetings and the Network every day. We had a great time in Charleston, WV with our panels, breakout sessions, and trainings.  As always, it was a great time to reconnect, share knowledge, and recharge for the coming year.

We have collected the presentations and materials from the talks and classroom session this year. They can be found here: 2018 Annual Meeting Presentations & Materials.

In addition to bringing in top-rate instructors, we also invite inspiring and topical keynote speakers.  This year we were honored to be joined by WV Senator Shelley Moore Capito; Andrea Levere, President of Prosperity Now; and Joel C. Baxley, Administrator of USDA Rural Development’s Rural Housing Service.

The 2018 Annual Meeting was made possible in part thanks to our generous sponsors.  We would like to thank the following organizations for their participation in the annual meeting and in their partnership in our mission: Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing, Virginia Housing Development Authority, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, JP Morgan Chase & Co., Tennessee Housing Development Agency, Appalachian Community Federal Credit Union, , West Virginia Housing Development Fund, Prosperity Now, Craft, Noble & Co., Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky, Kentucky Housing Corporation, NeighborWorks America, Southern Region, and  Rural LISC.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do here at Fahe.  Thank you to all those who attended, presented, and sponsored the 2018 Fahe Annual Meeting. Together we can support resilient leaders who create and support resilient communities.
